The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Art and Design lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students develop practical skills, creative thinking, and a strong appreciation of the subject. The school is looking for a passionate teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons and contribute positively to the continued success of the department.
The Role:
- Teaching Art and Design across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and challenging lessons
- Supporting students to develop practical skills, confidence, and artistic expression
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Art and Design qualifications
- Assessing student progress and providing effective feedback
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement
- Encouraging students to explore different techniques, materials, and creative approaches
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level
- Passionate about inspiring creativity and encouraging student achievement
- Able to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- A committed and enthusiastic teacher who wants to make a positive impact
