£88.92-£104.98 per day dependent on experience

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviours to work to the best of their ability in order to make the most of their education and learning. You will be required to assist and encourage the young adults to take part in all activities and tasks carried out by the school including physical activity, lessons and crafts.

These students have needs such as autism, developmental language disorder, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, PMLD, SLD and moderate learning difficulties. This role can be very rewarding for somebody who is wanting to make a positive impact on a young person’s life.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience of working with behaviours that challenge is highly desirable
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one
  • Be able to provide details of 2 willing and relevant referees
  • The ability to work on initiative and proactively
  • A passion for education and motivation to making a difference for our young people
