The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Assist students with learning tasks, ensuring understanding and engagement.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with additional needs.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare learning resources and assist with lesson planning.
  • Support exam preparation, assessments, and student progress tracking.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff.

Requirements

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you will need

  • Experience supporting students in a classroom or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
