Vision for Education are currently recruiting ICT/Computing Teachers with QTS, as well as experienced ICT and Computing specialists, to work across a range of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.
About the role
As an ICT/Computing Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their knowledge and understanding of computing, digital technology, programming and online safety.
You will be responsible for delivering effective lessons, managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate and achieve.
This role is ideal for qualified ICT/Computing Teachers looking for flexible supply work, a better work-life balance, or the opportunity to experience different schools across Stoke-on-Trent. We also welcome applications from candidates with relevant secondary school experience who have a strong knowledge of ICT and Computing.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach topics including computing, digital technology, programming and IT
- Develop students' digital literacy, problem-solving and computational thinking skills
- Encourage confidence, creativity and positive attitudes towards technology
- Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all students
- Assess student progress and provide appropriate feedback
- Support students in developing their ICT and digital skills
- Build positive relationships with students and school staff
- Adapt confidently to different school environments and expectations
- Contribute to the wider life of the Computing/ICT department and school where required

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - desirable
- Relevant ICT, Computing or related teaching qualification - desirable
- Experience teaching ICT or Computing within a secondary school setting - desirable
- Strong knowledge of ICT and Computing
- Candidates without QTS but with relevant secondary school experience are encouraged to apply
