Year 3 Class Teacher
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Start Date: September 2026 to July 2027
Salary: (£140 - £232 per day)

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Class Teacher to join this welcoming school until July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a supportive, community‑focused environment and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to a Year 3 class, maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
- Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all learners
- Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
