Vision for Education is looking for a caring, confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school from October 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils who benefit from additional support with their learning and development.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Adapt activities and learning materials to meet individual needs
  • Support pupils with their engagement, confidence and behaviour
  • Work closely with teachers and other school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is patient, positive and adaptable
  • Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Can confidently support pupils with a range of needs and behaviours
  • Is passionate about helping young people reach their potential
  • Has previous SEND experience - desirable, but not essential
  • Can provide suitable references and complete an Enhanced DBS check
