Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Full‑Time Teaching Assistant to work at a secondary school in the Dewsbury area. This is a full‑time role, ideal for an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for their next opportunity. To start ASAP, this position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate. Opportunities are available throughout Kirklees.
The successful Full‑Time Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to deliver sessions in small group sessions. This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed teaching team.
Requirements
- Have previous, recent experience working with young people
- Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
- Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
- Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
- Have excellent classroom management skills
