The School and Role

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and nurturing full time Year 6 to join a supportive primary school in Hexham on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing hight quality teaching and learning within KS2. You will play a key role in supporting pupils through this importantyear, helping them to develop confidence and independence.

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in EYFS
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment
  • Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Work as part of a collaborative and caring team
  • Show enthusiasm, creativity and excellent classroom management skills
