The Programme
As part of the National Teaching Assistant Programme, you'll receive:

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons.
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
- Support children with their learning and development.
- Assist pupils with additional needs and SEND where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Support classroom activities and learning interventions.
About You
You don't necessarily need previous experience working in a school — we're looking for people who are:
- Passionate about working with children and young people.
- Caring, patient and approachable.
- Reliable and enthusiastic.
- Keen to learn and develop their skills.
- Able to build positive relationships with children.
- Committed to making a difference to pupils' education and development.

Previous experience in education, childcare, youth work, coaching, mentoring or support work would be advantageous, but is not essential.
