The School and Role

This primary school in Gateshead (NE11 area) is currently looking to recruit a KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis from September 2026. Working in school until December, the KS2 Teacher appointed for the role will be covering a mixed Year 3/4 class, where pupils have differing levels of attainment. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is a slightly-larger-than-average primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
