Overview
Vision for Education are working in partnership with a successful and supportive secondary school in Hull to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a forward‑thinking English department within a well‑regarded school environment. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate will initially work through Vision for Education on a supply basis before transitioning onto a permanent contract directly with the school.
Role
- Deliver engaging and high‑quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

- Assess, monitor and support student progress effectively

Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Be confident delivering English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Possess excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Be passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential
