The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping students develop their understanding of economic theory, real-world applications, and critical thinking skills. The school is looking for a committed teacher who can motivate students and contribute positively to the continued success of the department.
The Role:
- Teaching Economics across KS4 and KS5
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Economics examinations
- Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement
- Building positive relationships with students and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A strong academic background in Economics or a related subject
- Experience teaching Economics at secondary school level
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- A committed and enthusiastic teacher who wants to make a positive impact
