The supports students with a range of special needs including, Speech and Language, Autism and Learning Difficulties. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Create a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote engagement and positive behaviour.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their emotional and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and the wider support team.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to individual learning or support plans.
- Support students in developing confidence, resilience, and social skills.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teacher you will:
- QTS/QTLS
- Experience of working with Secondary aged children.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong behaviour management and relationship building skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
