Drama Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and creative Teacher of Drama to join a secondary academy in Blackpool, Lancashire. The role is part-time (3 days per week) and starts in September, with no fixed end date.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess students' work effectively.
• Manage classroom behaviour consistently.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Commitment to safeguarding.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
