We are looking for a passionate and creative Teacher of Drama to join a secondary academy in Blackpool, Lancashire. The role is part-time (3 days per week) and starts in September, with no fixed end date.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess students' work effectively.
- Manage classroom behaviour consistently.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Commitment to safeguarding.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
