Early Years Practitioner (Part Time, Temporary)

Salary: £462.80 - £525 per week (salary depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Period: September 2026 - July 2027
The School and Role
On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to work 1 day a week at a lovely school in the Crook area, DL15. Working as part of an established team, the Early Years Practitioner will be supporting across the Nursery unit in all rooms. You will help create a calm, nurturing space where children feel safe, secure and ready to explore. The role runs every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Experience in Early Years and a minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification are essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and is accessible by public transport.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
- Experience working with primary school‑aged children
- Experience working with pupils with SEND
- Passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- Ability to work as part of a team
