Overview
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an IT Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and work in local secondary schools in the South Durham area for a start from September 2026.
The IT Teacher will be supported by an outstanding management team, and will work alongside practitioners who put students at the heart of everything they do.
The role focuses on teaching IT at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) within a Humanities context.
Responsibilities
- Deliver IT lessons to KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering inspiring, well-structured lessons.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Humanities department to support student learning and outcomes.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
- Have a genuine desire to be part of a committed team of secondary teachers.
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
