Vision for Education is looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join schools across Colchester. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and helping them get the most out of their education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support pupils in the classroom, helping with learning, activities and their day-to-day development.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
- Working with individual pupils or small groups to support their learning
- Helping create a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and educational needs
- Helping with classroom organisation and preparation
- Encouraging pupils and building positive relationships
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- A genuine passion for supporting children and their education
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, caring and positive attitude
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- A willingness to learn and adapt to different school environments
- Relevant qualifications or experience in education are beneficial but not always essential
