Vision for Education is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (Bank Staff) to support a welcoming primary school nursery provision in Cirencester. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional who is looking for flexible working opportunities while continuing to make a positive impact on children's early development.

Working as part of a supportive nursery team, you will provide additional classroom support across the Early Years setting, helping children feel secure, confident and encouraged to explore the world around them. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children through a range of activities including structured learning, creative play, outdoor learning and daily nursery routines. You will work alongside experienced practitioners to create a safe and engaging environment where children can develop key skills.

This is a temporary bank role, with hours offered depending on the needs of the school. Shifts may vary and could include supporting staff absence, additional nursery cover or increased staffing requirements during busy periods.

The successful candidate will have previous Early Years experience and hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare or Early Years.

Requirements

  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery, EYFS or reception environment
  • A strong understanding of early childhood development
  • Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs
  • The ability to create positive relationships with children and staff
  • A patient, caring and proactive approach
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
