THE ROLE
As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when the class teacher is absent, delivering pre-planned lessons and keeping pupils engaged, motivated and on track.
You'll help create a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, support pupils with their work and provide a clear handover to teaching staff.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting
- Confidence managing a classroom and leading a group of pupils
- Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
- A calm, reliable and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning
- Right to Work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Suitable references
