As an Early Career Teacher working through Vision for Education, you will have the opportunity to teach within supportive Secondary school environments. You may work on day-to-day supply, short-term assignments or longer placements, allowing you to gain valuable experience across different school settings while building your teaching portfolio.
Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and supporting pupil engagement
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with school staff to support student development
This role is ideal for ECTs who are looking to build experience, develop confidence in the classroom, and find the right school to complete their induction or secure a longer-term position.
Requirements
- To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS
- A relevant degree or teaching qualification
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- The flexibility and enthusiasm to work across different school settings
