Business and Economics Teacher to join a successful and ambitious secondary school from September.

The successful candidate will teach engaging lessons that develop analytical thinking, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.

The Role
- Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Teach Economics at Key Stage 5, with the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations, ensuring excellent academic outcomes.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback and intervention where required.
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities, enterprise initiatives and the wider life of the department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Business Studies to GCSE and Economics to A Level, or the ability to teach both subjects confidently.
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management.
- Has high expectations of students and a commitment to raising attainment.
- Is an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
