Make a difference every day as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, supporting children and young adults with Autism and complex needs to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing, inclusive school in Bury.
This is a highly rewarding, hands-on role where your dedication and skills will directly impact pupils' growth, confidence, and well-being. You'll work alongside a passionate, experienced team in purpose-built facilities based in Bury, that provide the ideal environment for SEN professionals to grow and make a positive impact on the lives of children with SEND. This is a term-time only role with strong potential to become permanent following a successful qualifying period, alongside access to ongoing training and professional development. This role is ideal for candidates seeking meaningful SEN experience and long-term opportunities within special education.
Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below)
- Have previous experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults
- Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or complex needs
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families
- Show emotional resilience and adaptability, remaining patient and positive in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
- Be reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive impact in a specialist education setting.

The daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.
