- Vision for Education are looking to recruit dedicated and reliable
- Support Staff to work within welcoming secondary schools across the
BS15 and BS16 areas of Bristol.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Whether you have previous experience working in schools, youth work, care, coaching or support work, we\'d love to hear from you.
Roles may include working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Support Assistant or providing 1:1 support for students with additional needs.
The positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis , working
Monday to Friday between 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only . You will initially be employed on a
0-hour contract through Vision for Education, with opportunities to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
- Supporting students in lessons, on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence.
- Supporting students with additional learning or behavioural needs.
- Promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day.
- Building strong relationships with students and staff to help create an inclusive learning environment.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Is patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships.
- Can adapt to the individual needs of students.
- Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential.
- Holds an
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service , or is willing to obtain one through Vision for Education.
