The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.
We are recruiting for experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for confident and motivated individuals who can take a leading role in the classroom, support teaching and learning across different year groups, and make a positive impact on pupils' educational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher
- Deliver targeted intervention programmes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment activities
- Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and other support staff
- Assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Support pupils with varying learning needs to achieve their full potential
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Level 6 qualification or relevant degree in Childhood Studies, Education, or a related field
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Experience working across primary key stages
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities

- Have experience working with secondary-aged children
- Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to use their initiative
- Be confident supporting both individual learners and whole-class activities
- Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to education
