Location: Bolton

Start Date: September 2026.

Contract: Long-term with Daily Opportunities available.

Salary: £450 - £500 per week (dependent on experience and scale point).

The School and Role

We are seeking a SEN Trainee Teaching Assistant to join supportive and inclusive primary schools from September 2026. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a motivated SEN Trainee Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping young learners grow in confidence and achieve their best in the classroom.

Requirements

  • Do you have a background in care, residential, complexed needs support or youth work with children and young people?
  • Confidence assisting children with classwork, 1:1 support, and small group learning activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, pupils, and wider school staff.
  • A positive attitude and genuine interest in supporting primary-age children's progress and wellbeing.
  • A dependable and adaptable approach to supporting classroom routines and learning activities.
