The School and the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate A Level Psychology and/or Criminology Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Boltonon a part-time, temporary cover starting ASAP.

You’ll be teaching Psychology and/or Criminology at A Level, delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire confidence and performance skills. The school has well-motivated students, strong leadership support, and a clear commitment to professional development.

You’ll be joining a dedicated and collaborative department, with access to good facilities, specialist resources, and free onsite parking.

Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below)

To be considered for this Teacher of Psychology and/or Criminologyrole, you must:

  • Hold QTS or a PGCE (UK-recognised teaching qualification)
  • Have recent experience teaching A Level
  • ECTs considered
  • Be interested in 0.6 timetable - Tuesday to Thursday
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be able to provide suitable references, a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and Right to Work in the UK
