About the role
Are you a passionate and qualified Dance Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school in Blackburn for a full-time Teacher of Dance to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver engaging, creative lessons that encourage students to develop confidence, performance skills and a love of dance. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress and contribute positively to the wider school community. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or further their teaching career in a supportive environment.

Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

- Be passionate about inspiring young people through dance and performance.
- Be committed to supporting the academic and personal development of all students.
