Responsibilities
As a Teacher of Computer Science in Blackburn, Lancashire, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their digital skills and understanding of technology. This position offers consistency, support and the chance to become a valued member of the school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
