The Role
Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teachers of Social Sciences to work across a variety of secondary schools in Birmingham.
We are looking for teachers with experience teaching subjects such as PSHE, Humanities, Sociology, Psychology, Religious Education, Citizenship and related social science subjects.
Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we have a range of opportunities available.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons, following school schemes of work, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

Vision for Education works with a wide range of secondary schools across Birmingham, including academies, maintained schools and multi-academy trusts.

Requirements
The successful Social Sciences Teacher will have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A recognised PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
- Experience teaching PSHE, Humanities, Sociology, Psychology, RE, Citizenship or related subjects.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
- A genuine commitment to supporting students and their learning.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
