A specialist SEND college situated in North Birmingham, providing education and support for young people with ASD and SEMH. The college is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where every young person is valued as an individual and encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and potential. We also recognise the importance of supporting our staff and fostering a positive, collaborative environment in which everyone can thrive.
About you:
To be considered for the Specialist Support Assistant role, you will:
Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
