This specialist secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a compassionate and dedicated 1-1 SEN Support Worker to support pupils aged 11-19 with autism and additional learning needs. Oscott Manor School is part of the Think Differently Education Trust and offers excellent specialist facilities including sensory spaces, vocational learning environments and outdoor learning areas.
The successful 1-1 SEN Support Worker will support pupils on a 1:1 basis, promoting engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children or young people with complex needs/SEND
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
