I'm currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work in a SEND school in Basildon!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a supportive, specialist setting, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and reach their full potential. Whether you already have experience in SEND or are looking to develop your career in specialist education, I'd love to hear from you!
What will the role involve?
- Supervising and supporting pupils throughout the school day.
- Helping to deliver planned learning activities and keeping pupils engaged.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, adapting your approach to suit individual requirements.
- Promoting positive behaviour and creating a calm, safe and supportive learning environment.
- Encouraging pupils to develop their communication, confidence and independence.
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils receive the support they need.

- Previous experience in a SEND school or a similar setting would be beneficial.
