We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in a SEND schools supporting pupils aged between 5 – 18. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of needs: SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disability) and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), either 1-1 or in small groups., The Schools are based in Bristol and South Gloucestershire and provide support for Primary and Secondary aged children. The Schools are extremely dedicated to serve their pupils, striving to develop ambition, confidence and potential for each and every one of them. They closely track the progress of students to ensure they achieve more than they ever thought possible and guarantee that there is effective and prompt support and intervention when needed.

Experience working with SEND children

  • Understand the crucial importance of keeping young people and children safe

  • Be willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service

£12.50 – £13.50 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
