The School and Role
Vision for Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in Ashington (NE63) from September 2026.
The SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Year 1 child on a 1:1 basis. This will include in-class support, as well as directed interventions as required. Some training will be given by the school.
Requirements
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
