Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes that meet individual student needs
- Employability and workplace awareness where appropriate
- Functional English and Maths embedded within everyday learning activities
- Confidence building, wellbeing and life skills development
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to support a variety of learning styles and abilities
- Support students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Support students' emotional wellbeing and promote independence
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- Experience working with SEND students (preferred)
- Patience and strong communication skills

About you
To be considered for the Tutor role, you will:
Hold suitable qualifications, QTS/PGCE or relevant teaching experience
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
