Learning Support Assistant Trainee – Paid School Experience

Location: Wirral, Merseyside

Salary: £14.24 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Whether you've worked in care, customer service, hospitality, the NHS, childcare, coaching or another people-focused role, you may already have the transferable skills needed to succeed in a school environment. No previous classroom experience is required. We'll provide industry-leading training, ongoing support and paid placements in local schools to help you build a successful career in education.

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils throughout the school day.
  • From helping children stay engaged in lessons to providing encouragement and promoting positive behaviour, you’ll become an important part of the school community.
  • Every placement offers something different, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across a range of age groups and educational settings while developing valuable new skills.
