Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to continue your teaching career in a supportive environment? We have multiple exciting opportunities for Early Careers Teachers to join our team working in schools across Sefton Primary Schools. There are a mix of full-time and part-time/flexible positions available, offering the chance to gain valuable experience and complete some terms of your induction, depending on your current status.

You will have the opportunity to work in various primary settings across Wirral and surrounding areas and as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) at these schools, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills under the guidance of experienced mentors. These roles offer hands-on experience in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons across the primary curriculum, with the opportunity to complete some terms of your ECT induction as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of primary students.
  • Support the academic and social development of students through targeted interventions and differentiated instruction.
  • Participate in school-wide activities, including staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular events.
The desired Early Careers Teacher will have:
  • Hold a relevant Teaching qualification and hold ECT status in the UK.
  • Completed successful placements in Primary and/or SEND settings.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
