Join our dedicated team at Vision For Education working closely with a local primary school as a Qualified Teaching Assistant or Trainee! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with primary-aged children in a nurturing environment. With or without experience, in this rewarding role, you will assist with daily classroom activities and engage with children during our clubs, fostering their creativity, curiosity, and social skills.

The role: If you have a background in childcare and are seeking a thrilling new venture in education, you’re in luck! A similar educational role is preferred; it is not essential, however, you should have a genuine passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.

Requirements: The desired Primary Teaching Assistant will:

  • Have recent experience supporting children aged 3-11
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn and develop
  • Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years and we must be able to obtain valid references from these roles
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Have a kind and compassionate nature towards education.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
