1-2-1 Learning Support (SEND) Leeds (LS8) £90 – £100 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) ASAP – potential to be permanent  The role  Vision for Education is currently recruiting a 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds (LS8) to start  Full-Time basis from September. Working in this Primary school as part of an established team, the desired 1-2-1 Learning Support Assistant will be working 1-2-1 predominantly with a pupil in KS1 with Down\’s Syndrome, however you may also support other pupils across school for variety in the role. You would be supporting a child with SEND needs, so you must be caring, nurturing and a calm presence in the classroom. You will be provided in-house training and play a big part in the progress, attainment and care for this child. You will be great at building appropriate relationships with pupils as a result. If you come from a care background and looking to gain more experience in a primary setting, this could be for you. This 2 form primary school is located in LS8. It is a very supportive and welcoming environment where children\’s needs are well catered for. The successful candidate will have the neccessary SEND experience as well as experience of working with primary aged pupils.   Requirements The desired 1-2-1 Learning Supportwill have: • Have experience working with Primary School aged children • Have experience working with pupils with SEND • You must have a caring and nurturing personality Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
