About the role:
- SEMH Teaching Assistant - Leeds (LS11)
- £450 - £500 per week
- Start date: Immediate
- This is a full-time role working 08:15 - 15:30.
The role can be challenging but is also very rewarding. The ideal person would have a nurturing yet resilient approach within the classroom, and it is essential to have previous experience in this area as well as an in-date Team Teach qualification.
Requirements:
- Hold an enhanced child and adult workforce DBS which is registered to the update service (Vision can assist with obtaining this if required).
- Have an in-date Team Teach qualification.
- Be confident when working 1-2-1 with children with SEMH needs.
- Be confident and experienced in implementing de-escalation techniques.
