Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team of educators. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities within the primary school, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for our students. The two-form primary school in LS25 are looking for a Play Worker to help with planning and organising their Out of School provision and holiday playscheme. You will help to supervise a team of staff that are committed to providing a broad range of services to our school community.

Hours: 7.30am-9.00am & (phone number removed)pm Monday to Friday - total 20 hours - Overtime and additional hours available during school holiday periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Can take full responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of Extended Services in the absence of the Extended Services Manager.
  • Can plan a range of exciting and creative activities to stimulate and support children.
  • Can work in partnership with families to provide the best possible childcare service for all children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting or relevant qualification (e.g. Level 3 - Supporting Teaching and Learning).
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
