About the Role

Vision for Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Subject Tutors to work with students local to you across Kent. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong academic background and a desire to help students achieve their potential. You will be responsible for providing tailored tutoring sessions in your subject area, supporting students on a one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality subject‑specific tutoring sessions.
  • Support students with their academic development, boosting confidence and motivation.
  • Plan and implement engaging and effective learning strategies.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to track student progress and provide feedback.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant subject or a strong academic background in the subject you wish to tutor.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching.
  • A passion for education and supporting young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
