About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching role in a Year 5 class with high needs
  • Create a nurturing and structured learning environment to support students' emotional and academic development
  • Work closely with SEND specialists, teaching assistants, and external agencies to provide tailored support
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the National Curriculum, adapted to suit students' needs
  • Promote positive behaviour strategies and a trauma-informed approach to teaching

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience working with children with SEN or additional SEND support is highly desirable
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
