Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a long term supply basis at Hob Moor Oaks Primary School, 3 days per week; 9am - 3pm for the full academic year. This is a term time only opportunity, ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their education and development.
About the Role:
- You will be supporting children aged 2–11 years with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- The role may involve:
- Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils
- Supporting children with physical disabilities and medical needs
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
About You:
- We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN or
- Come from a care background (e.g. support work, residential care, healthcare)
- Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Are committed to supporting children’s individual needs and development
