Teacher – Specialist Provision 30,000 – 41,000 per annum Full Term, Permanent We are seeking an experienced KS3 and 4 teacher to deliver high quality teaching and learning. This newly created post is based in the HD8 area, within an easy commuting distance of Wakefield, Barnsley and Huddersfield. This is a full time role open to QTS qualified teachers with a secondary / SEND background, ideally with experience of working with young people with SEND or SEMH. The required teacher will be able to teach English and Maths. You will be designing, delivering and coordinating learning experiences for young people with SEMH needs, as well potentially as other diagnoses, almost all of whom hold an EHCP. Ideally you will be confident in delivering several curriculum subjects and enjoy working in a personalised way to deliver a bespoke curriculum. You must be passionate about your work and role in improving outcomes and life chances for young people. The approach to each young person’s learning will be holistic and individualised. There is potential in this role to work in an extremely person centred way; forging and encouraging trusting, productive relationships and inspiring self confidence. The role may initially commence via Vision for Education, however there is potential for this to become a contracted role. The desired candidate will be prepared to complete some essential training prior to starting in this setting. We are looking for candidates to contact us asap for an Easter or summer start, however the right appointment is essential. Salary is dependent upon experience, training and qualifications. The minimum requirement for this role is – Qualified Teacher Status.
