Requirements
The ideal Education – mental health support worker must be enthusiastic and have the ability to build a rapport with students, be resilient, flexible and able to think fast on your feet to adapt to challenging situations. Our ideal candidate for this role must have relative experience within the last 3 years with children or adults in a school or care setting from which we can gain professional, performance-based references. Vision can offer FREE Team Teach training to successful candidates if needed.
The Role
This role supports young people and children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties within a specialist school setting in Pontefract. We are ideally looking for candidates with full time availability Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3.30pm. This position is initially through Vision for Education on a daily rate; however, the chance of a contract being offered after 12 weeks is highly likely for the right candidate. The desirable candidate will be prepared to complete essential training prior to starting in this setting. We are looking for candidates to begin on our supply register as soon as possible.
