The Programme Aligned with our client schools, we offer successful Trainee Secondary Teachers top-notch training and paid on-the-job experience. Upon a successful interview and completion of suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we endeavour to secure a paid placement in a school to further enhance your skills. Before commencing your placement, you will undergo a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with the essential skills requisite for the role of a Trainee Secondary Teacher. The Role: As a Trainee Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of students within the classroom, supporting students with their learning, including students with SEND and EAL students. Whether you are working in a school as a Cover Supervisor or a Learning Support Assistant, you will be assisting the running and managing of the classroom, ensuring that students work is completed and delivering pre-planned lessons to students. Additionally, you will aid in recording and reporting pupil progress and behaviour, ensuring children are making notable strides in the classroom – No experience necessary! Requirements for the Cover Supervisor Programme include: A Bachelors degree in a core subject area and a good knowledge of the UK Curriculum.
