Salary: £94–£108 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Vision for Education is delighted to be working in partnership with REAch2 Academy Trust to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chigwell. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school community that is committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

The Role

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in the classroom.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to help children reach their learning goals.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence, independence, and resilience.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have experience working with children or young people (school experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Be caring, patient, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Vision for Education.
