We work in partnership with High Schools across all of Essex, providing them staff for all their needs.
We ve found that recent graduates or even undergrads get along brilliantly and are top of the list for most of our schools for staffing.
It is your role as a Cover Supervisor to encourage the classes learning, manage student behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher.
Successful Graduate Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident, and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.
You ll not be expected to be a subejct expert on any topic, just providing a postiive learning environment for all students to acheive the tasks set is key.
A Cover Supervisor will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, either full-time or part-time.
This role provides a great opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training.
With many of our schools being part of a training consortium, it s a huge head start for the short-listing process!
Although previous experience of working in childcare desirable, it is not essential.
