Vision for Education are a Welsh Government-approved education recruitment agency and we are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Primary Teacher to work with primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in the Monmouth area. This is an exciting opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional learning needs. The role is available for an immediate start, with the potential to continue on a long-term basis.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development, and creating a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:- Teaching primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Delivering creative, engaging and differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupils' communication, social interaction and learning development
- Working closely with support staff, SENCOs and parents
- Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Full-time, Monday to Friday position
- Immediate start available
- Qualified Primary Teacher with UK QTS
- ECTs/NQTs welcome to apply
- Experience working with pupils with ASC, SEN or additional learning needs is desirable
- Available full-time or willing to commit to a long-term role
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
- Ability to plan, assess and adapt learning to meet individual needs
- Passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs
- Innovative, patient and committed to achieving positive outcomes for pupils
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one (supported by Vision for Education)
- Registered with the EWC or willing to register (supported by Vision for Education)
- Driving licence and access to transport preferred but not essential
